A field trip to Schweizer Orchards begins with a tour
of our retail store followed by a picture book read aloud
describing the process of the apple harvest. After the story,
your students will be led on a walking tour of our orchard
while learning about the different trees and varieties of
apples. As a special treat, each child can pick their very
own apple to enjoy!
Before you head back to the school, be sure to let your
students enjoy our playground area and stroll through our
hay maze. You can easily monitor your class as you relax
at one of our picnic tables. There is even plenty of room
for the children to sit at the tables and you can review
what they have learned before heading back to school.
This fun and educational experience, appropriate for all
